Surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at her new residence of Creedan Valley Care Community, Creemore, formerly of North Bay in her 97th year. Pearl Abbott was the beloved wife of the late Hugh. Loving mother of Hugh of Eugenia, George(Maxine) of Whitney and the late Eleanor Graves. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kimberly Biss, Joey Biss, Andrew Graves, Michael Lightbody, Cindy Marsh and Gabriel Lightbody as well as great and great great grandmother to many. She will be fondly remembered by her only surviving sister Peggy Barker and many nieces and nephews. Pearl is predeceased by her sisters Georgina, Thelma, Betty and Evangelina as well as her parents George and Elizabeth Abbott. A celebration of Pearl's life will be held in the spring in Sundridge, Ontario and she will be interred with her late husband Hugh Sr., and beloved late daughter Eleanor Graves.
